The oldest tour operator of Russia STC "Intourist" invited journalists to get acquainted with the new Italian region of Abruzzo for Russian tourists.

Located just 200 km from the airport of Rimini, Abruzzo is practically not familiar to our compatriots. At the same time, the region is unique in that it combines both beach rest and active leisure in the mountains: the road from the Adriatic Sea to the Apennine Mountains will take literally 20 minutes. That is, within one day you can have time to ski and sunbathe on the beach. Also Abruzzo is famous for its dry wines and olive oil, which is considered one of the best in the world.

The main center of entertainment and nightlife is Pescara. In the center of the city is the biggest tourist port of the Adriatic, from which in just four hours you can swim to Croatia. According to the director of Pescara airport, there is a possibility of launching direct flights from Moscow already in the coming summer. For now, the nearest air hub is Rimini airport.
