What currency to take to Italy and where it is better to change it?
Responds Petrenko Hope, Russian Express company
National currency - EUR, all settlements in the country only in national currency.
You can exchange currency in the exchange offices, in banks and at the post office. Banks are open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 13:30 and from 15:00 to 16:15, on Saturdays and Sundays - weekends. The currency can be exchanged around the clock at the airport, but the rate will be less favorable.
In cities in many restaurants, hotels, shops and department stores it is convenient to pay with bank cards. In institutions where cards are accepted, an ad "Carta-si" is usually posted. Most gas stations require payment in cash. And in settlements far away from big cities, the calculation of cards is very difficult.
