To travel across Russia you have to have a vehicle inspection in any way, and to enter Latvia you need a green card.

To enter the territory of Latvia on your own car you need the following documents:
- Passports of all participants of the trip with their Schengen visas pasted into them (a child under 14 years can be entered in the passport of one of the parents, while traveling on their own, they must have their own passport and notarized consent to leave);
- Birth certificate of children;
- Medical insurance with the amount of coverage not less than 30 thousand EUR;
- Driving license of international standard;
- Certificate of vehicle registration;
- Green card, operating in the territory of Latvia.
