How to get to Vianden?

Entertainment, excursions and attractions of Vianden
Castle Vianden - the main attraction of the town, to it is laid the only lift in the whole of the Duchy of Luxembourg. The original buildings of the castle date back to the 13th century, but it is not just another medieval fortress, it is actually a beautiful palace with magnificent interiors. The house-museum of Victor Hugo is famous for the fact that the great writer stayed here during his four visits to Vianden. Which of his amazing novels was created in Vianden - it remains to be wondered. In front of the museum is the bust of Victor Hugo by Auguste Rodin, donated to the city by the French Senate.
Certainly worth visiting the Church of the Order of the Trinity, performed in the tradition of Gothic, built in 1248 by the monks of the Order. The organ of the temple, established in the 17th century, is unusual and beautiful. In the church you can see the graves of the Counts of Vinanden, and the reliquary of St. Anthony.
