Russians gave rebuff to armed bandits who attacked a tourist minibus. During the ensuing fight, one of the bullets hit the Russian tourist in the finger, but the bandits did not achieve the desired result and were detained by the Mexican police.

The attackers blocked a bus near the Misol Ha waterfall in Chiapas and demanded that they give them money and valuables. However, the Russians did not lose their heads and rendered the robbers a worthy rebuff: the Russians beat the intruders and handed them over to the law enforcement bodies, after which they received the necessary medical help at the expense of the travel agency.

Having received the help of doctors, the Russians continued on the planned route and did not miss a single sight from the number of planned.

Note that this case is unique for Mexico, where incidents with tourists are extremely rare. A few minutes after the incident, the Tourism Ministers were aware of what had happened. Politicians promised to take action and not leave the attack without proper reaction.
