According to the Moldovan customs legislation, the traveler's property is exempted from customs payments when exporting from the country "regardless of its value, provided it is not intended for commercial or industrial activities". At the same time, "the obligation to confirm the fact that the goods are not intended for commercial or industrial activities is assigned to the individual who moves the goods."
Wines and vermouths, as well as other strong alcoholic beverages, can be exported from Moldova no more than 2 liters, malt beer - up to 5 liters. Cigar can easily take out up to 50 pieces, cigarettes - up to 200.
