Visa processing online - $
To arrange such a visa, a tourist must book a hotel and air travel (independently through the Internet or through the agency of a tour operator), and then fill out an online application form on the Myanmar Visa Portal website.
After filling out the form, you need to pay a visa fee (USD 30) and a processing fee (USD 45) - also online, with a credit card. Visa fees can also be paid directly at the airport of arrival.
Consideration of the application takes up to 10 working days, and in case of a positive response to the applicant's e-mail address, a visa confirmation will be sent, which must be printed and presented at check-in for the flight, and then on passport control for visa admission. A duplicate of visa permission will be sent to the office of the airline whose flight the applicant will arrive in Myanmar.
Visa processing at the consulate
To apply for a visa for individual travelers, the following documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow:
- Passport, the validity of which is not less than six months from the end of the trip. In the passport there must be at least one free page for sticking a visa;
- 2 color photos 3x4 cm on a light background;
- 1 application form, completed in English and personally signed by the applicant.
If a tourist visits Myanmar as part of an organized tour, this package of documents should be accompanied by a letter of visa support from the host party (provided by the tour operator).
The validity of the visa is 3 months from the date of issue, the maximum period of stay in the country is 28 days.
There is no preliminary record for filing documents. Personal presence in Moscow is optional. Reception of documents is carried out from Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 13:00, the issuance of ready-made visas from Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 16:00.
If you plan to travel with children, you must provide a copy of the birth certificate. For children who have reached the age of 7, 5 photographs of the specified sample are also provided.
