Geilo tracks

Slopes for skiing are on both sides of the valley and are divided into 3 skiing areas: Geilo Taubane, Vestlia Ski Center and Slaatta Ski Center. Single ski-pass to all the slopes of the resort.

A lot of routes of different levels of complexity, there are 4 illuminated descent, 3 snowboard routes have been laid, a cross-country ski track - as much as 220 kilometers. The longest descent is 2 km. There is a ski school. In the largest of the three snow parks Geilo (in the Slaatta area) is the only superpipe in Norway, whose height reaches almost six meters, and the length is 150 meters.

The official opening of the ski season falls on the middle of November. Slopes are open for skiing from 9.30 to 15.30 (until 16.30 from February to the end of the season), from January to April, from Tuesday to Friday there is also evening skating - until 20.00. Ski pass for one day costs 355 NKO, for a week - 1595 NKO, card for the whole season - 4400 NKO, children under 7 years old - free of charge (prices are indicated for the 2011/12 season). A free shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the ski lifts in the mornings, until about 11.00.
