The requirements for the package of documents are standard "all-Schengen" ones; The passport must be valid for 3 months after the end of the trip. Required documents
- international passport (validity period must be at least three months after the end of the trip, the presence of a signature is mandatory, the passport must have at least 2 blank pages);
- a photocopy of the passport page with personal data;
- a questionnaire filled in online in English or Norwegian and personally signed applicant. The form can also be obtained at the Visa Center,
- two color photos 3, 5x4, 5 cm against a light background (photo not older than 6 months),
- photocopy of all pages of the internal passport,
- copy of the health insurance with covering not less than EUR 30,000 (you must have the original with you when you go to the Visa Center),
- a certificate from the place of work indicating the position and salary,
- proof of the availability of sufficient funds for the entire period of the trip from the calculation of at least 50 EUR per person per day;
- confirmation of the hotel reservation for the whole period of stay;
- description of the flights that in English or Norwegian.
A photocopy of the birth certificate will be required for children under 14 years of age. If a child under the age of 18 leaves with one of the parents, other relatives or accompanying persons, a notarized authorization from the remaining parent (s) in Russian will also be required. The power of attorney should contain the phrases: "a trip to Norway and other countries of the Schengen agreement is allowed ... It is allowed to take any decisions related to the child's stay abroad ...".
Single women traveling with children should provide a photocopy of a single mother certificate or an original police certificate stating that the relationship with the child's father is not supported and his whereabouts are unknown. Widows (widowers) must provide a copy of the death certificate of the spouse.
Underage citizens of Russia (under the age of 18) when traveling accompanied by parents (guardians, adoptive parents, trustees) must have a document confirming their relationship with them (birth certificate, guardianship, marriage, etc.).
The visa is issued within 3-4 working days. The maximum period that can be allowed is in Norway is 90 days, but visas are usually issued for a valid period of the trip.
