In Norway, a large number of ski and ski centers, the most popular of which is the capital of the Winter Olympic Games in 1994 - Lillehammer (176 km from Oslo), surrounded by no less famous resorts Gausdal (39 km from Lillehammer), Hafjell, Skye-Gösdal, Golo Ski Arena and Kvitfjell (50 km from Lillehammer).

No less popular are the ski centers around Gulya-Ol (8 trails at altitudes from 1400 to 1890 m, 3 ski lifts, a children's area, 40 km of plain trails), Gulfel and Nesbyen (6 runs at altitudes from 1000 to 1314 m, 3 lifts, 80 km of plain trails), Geilo (Yailo) (38 trails at altitudes from 800 to 1178 m, 18 lifts, 230 km of plain ski) 240 km from Oslo, Nurefjell (24 km of trails at altitudes from 700 to 1400 m, 14 lifts, 103 km from Oslo), Hemsedal (30 trails with a length of 40 km at altitudes from 650 to 1920 m, 16 lifts, 90 km of plain skiing, 220 km from Oslo).

In the ski centers of northern Norway - Wangslaw, Hovden, Sletvold, Stolen and Odalen around Oppdal (420 km from Oslo), Voss (660 m above sea level, 40 km of trails, 8 lifts). East Norway - Trisil (62 runs at altitudes from 600 to 1300 m, 25 ski lifts, 93 km of flat ski tracks).

The central part of Norway is the Beitostolen and Raudalen resorts. In the vicinity of the capital are interesting the famous ski center in Holmenkollen north of Oslo, with a unique springboard, TV tower and observation deck, the Museum of skis and dozens of colorful restaurants.

Almost every resort in Norway offers the opportunity to do biathlon.
