Tell me please. My daughter on a voucher under the student program is invited to work for 3 months. She points me out as a sponsor. But I recently retired and can not provide a certificate of income from my job. Will it be enough to have a statement from the bank of her and my about the cash balances on the account that confirm financial solvency. Moreover, the contract stipulates free accommodation, meals and a small salary. Or is it necessary to look for a sponsor to provide a certificate of income?

As I understand from your question, it is about collecting and submitting documents for a visa. If you are going to make out a tourist visa and if there are no other requirements (about which you need to specify in the educational institution that gives you a voucher), then when submitting documents to the consulate, it is required to provide proof of solvency for the amount of 50 EUR per day + 25 EUR the first day of stay is worth this amount more) for 1 person. And this is with prepaid travel, living with food and with insurance.
That is, if your daughter plans to stay in the Schengen zone for 90 days, you need to present an extract from the bank where the funds in your account are not less than : 90 х 50 + 25 = 4525 EUR х 42 = 190 050 rub.
At the same time you can write a sponsorship letter stating that you pay your daughter's expenses during this trip and attach a copy of the completed pages of your Russian passport.
It is advisable at the same time to put money on 1 card - a card ponsora. If your daughter is of age and she has her own account, then it is not necessary to file sponsorship, it is enough to show an extract from her bank account.
