Poiana Brasov is considered an elite, and at the same time - the most beautiful ski resort in the country. It is located at an altitude of 1030 m surrounded by coniferous forests, not far from the ancient city of Brasov. There is a well-developed infrastructure, snow cannons on 10 routes of varying complexity ensure guaranteed skiing all season.

The resort was founded in 1895, from 1906 it was chosen by skiers, and in 1909 the first ski competitions took place in Romania.

Climate

The resort has a typical mountain climate, the average July temperature is about 15 degrees Celsius, and in January, on average, there are 5 degrees below zero. The snow cover here lasts from November to March.
