The Annunciation Church (1692) is located on the Old Trading (Krasnoarmeiskaya) Square. The belfry on Novaya Torgovaya Square (61, 5 meters) is more precisely its remains, since in 2001 lightning struck the building and the fire almost destroyed the beautiful bell tower architecture. The Church of St. John the Forerunner is the highest (35 meters) and the largest temple in the city. It differs by unusual double domes and octagonal windows.
