On September 16, 2013, the Government of Russia adopted an order to sign the Agreement on mutual abolition of visa requirements between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Korea. According to the decree, upon reaching an agreement with the Korean side, the Russian Foreign Ministry is instructed to sign this agreement on behalf of the government. As a result, the visa-free agreement will be signed at the APEC summit on October 7-8, 2013 in Bali, Indonesia.
Thanks to the signing of this Agreement, citizens of both countries will be able to visit these countries, having a regular foreign passport. The total period of the visa-free stay of citizens on the territory of the other side is 90 days for each period of 180 days, a separate trip should be limited to 60 days. Goals for visiting another country - business, tourism, participation in cultural, scientific, sporting events, private visit.
