Museum of ancient crafts and technologies "Dudutki" is located about 40 km from Minsk on the banks of the river Ptich. The museum was founded in 1993. Here you can plunge into the atmosphere of the Belarusian provincial life of the nineteenth century, see the way of life of the estate in Belarus, comprehend the meaning of folk customs and the secrets of ancient crafts: in the old bakery, guests will bake their own loaf; they will try themselves as potters in a pottery workshop and retrain to a blacksmith or miller.

Historical reconstruction in Dudutki

The area is approximately 160 hectares (this is about 310 football fields). Here you can find a real windmill, in which the miller will lay a table for you; smithy, pottery, bakery, dairy and other trades of Belarusians.

In addition, here you can order a picnic, visit an authentic Belarusian bathhouse or stay overnight in a hayloft or in a cottage located right on the territory of the complex.

One of the few officially registered in Belarus moonshine machines is located right here - you can easily drink a real Belarusian brew and eat cucumbers from a barrel. For connoisseurs no more words are needed.

Alexey
was here in November 2011

Imagine our surprise that on this day the museum is closed, did not even look at that yard Monday. But not for nothing that they arrived, waited for the guard to come, they poured some money on him (I do not remember the Belarusian banknote with what dignity, but something like our 100-120 rubles) and he allowed us to walk around the territory and enter ..
