Belorussia has very little to do with skiing holidays. Indeed, the terrain of the country is mostly flat, there are no mountain ranges at all, and there is practically no large difference in altitude between the hills and lowlands for the equipment of the ski slopes. But here and there still there are mountains and hills, which local residents actively turn into resorts for winter sports.

Already in the early 2000's. here the ski resorts are actively being built. Today, Belarus can offer tourists a modest (by the standards of Western European conditions for skiing), but very comfortable, well-equipped and most importantly - modern resorts. They, moreover, are quite affordable prices and provide vacationers with clean air and beautiful landscapes.

Today, Belarus can offer tourists a modest (by the standards of Western European conditions for skiing), but very comfortable, well-equipped and most importantly - modern resorts.

The most popular resort in the country is Silichi .It was opened relatively recently - in 2005 .and since then has not lost its relevance .Only half an hour drive from Minsk - and you find yourself in a modern, well-equipped ski resort .Four tracks, each 900 m long; one of them, separate, designed specifically for snowboarders .Convenient chair lift, track lighting with the onset of darkness, a rental point, a snow park .Excellent condition of the tracks help to maintain snow cannons, the main condition for their effective work is the presence of at least a small frost .

The price per night in the hotel in the resort of Silichi is about 50 USD per person, and even cheaper can be accommodated in private wooden houses and cottages.

The Logoysk ski resort is one of the very first opened in the country, its construction began in 2000. It is also located in close proximity to Minsk, and therefore very popular, especially for families. Five trails with a total length of 3, 5 km meet the highest European standards. This resort will be very popular for beginners - gentle slopes, comfortable lifts, experienced coaches and instructors.

It is impossible not to mention about the ski resort Mozyr - this is the most remote from the capital complex.

Located in 220 km from Minsk city of Mozyr and the resort zone are spread on the bottom of the ravine.

Even on the streets of the city, the vertical drop is up to 30 m, and the slopes of the natural depression are excellent for ski slopes. True, fans of extreme and fast driving, as well as those who have reached a certain skill in skiing or snowboarding, there will be nothing to do here, but this is an ideal place for beginners.
