Belgium is considered to be one of the main beer countries in Europe. Thousands of tourists come to the country every year to taste the famous local fruit varieties. It's no wonder that beer festivals are held in Belgium with an enviable constancy: only from February to May 2015 there will be three holidays of a foam drink in the country.
So, on February 7 and 8, the beer festival will be held in Bruges. The annual event Brugsbierfestival in 2015 will be held for the seventh time. At the event, more than 70 breweries will be presented to fans of low-alcohol beverage about 300 varieties. Every year beer festival in Bruges is attended by at least 20 thousand tourists.
On April 25 and 26, fans of foam will move to Leuven, which bears the proud status of the beer capital of Flanders. It is Leven is the headquarters of the world-famous brand Stella Artois. At the Zytos festival this year, more than a hundred brewers from all over Europe are preparing their varieties. Tourists will have an opportunity to taste about 500 sorts of beer.
On May 3, another festival of a foam drink will be held in the small town of Paiottenland, located south-west of Brussels. The Toer de Geuze is held every two years and is intended primarily for fans of local beers like lambic and geese.
