On the eve of a new summer season Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria Nikolina Angelkova and Minister Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov agreed on simplification of the procedure for issuing entry visas for tourists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia.
Bulgaria will issue double or multiple tourist visas for 3 years to citizens who received Bulgarian visa in 2014. In the same proposal will benefit citizens who have property in Bulgaria. Tourists who are going to Bulgaria for the first time will be able to get double or multiple visas for a period of 1 year.
The decision to simplify the visa regime was made with the aim of stimulating the tourist flow due to the decline in the number of tourists amid the economic crisis. February 2015
