The Consulate General of China in Khabarovsk has returned simplified recently the rules for obtaining visas for Russian tourists. The visa rules were slightly complicated in early February 2015 due to the suspicion of Ebola from one of the residents of Primorye in order to prevent an epidemic in the country.
Earlier, the Consulate General of China decided to tighten the rules for obtaining a visa: the applicants needed to fill out additional questionnaires, where they were asked to indicate data on the state of health and on what countries they were in. Tightening was introduced after a passenger from Moscow with a suspicion of Ebola flew to Vladivostok.
After the suspicion was lifted, the Chinese authorities canceled the requirements imposed at the beginning of the month.
