Hello! I want to travel on my own in China and make a Chinese visa. One problem is I am a Russian citizen, but at the moment I live in Japan, and I do not have a chance to go to Russia (even to Vladivostok). Tell me, how can I make a visa?
Responds Larisa Barysheva
According to available information, since for Japanese citizens it is not required to issue a Chinese visa for up to 15 days in China, Chinese Consulates in Japan do not consider visa applications from non-Japanese citizens individually, referring all to authorized tourist agencies (list companies can be obtained at the Consular Section of the Embassy).
In your case, I can also suggest that you create a route program for China in such a way that the first stop in the trip was Hong Kong (visa-free for citizens of the Russian Federation) where you could easily obtain a Chinese tourist visa. The easiest way to do this is by contacting one of the offices of the travel company China Travel Service Hong Kong Ltd. (CTS), you should have the following documents with you:
- 1 color photo 3 * 4 cm on a light background and a general international passport, valid for at least 6 months.
The addresses of the offices can be viewed on their official website.
