If you are flying to Cyprus with a transfer in Hungary, you need to issue a Schengen visa in case you leave their transit zone. If you do not go to the city, then there is no need to issue a transit Schengen visa.

If the waiting time for transplantation exceeds 24 hours, a transit visa must be issued. Since Cyprus is not a member of the Schengen agreement, a visa allowing entry into the territory of the country in question will not be enough.

An application for a Schengen visa is submitted to the representation of the state where you are going to rest, that is, to the Consulate of Cyprus. Remember, you will need a transit document even if you are going to spend 30 hours at the airport without leaving for the city. You can get it by providing a national visa, a questionnaire, three photos, travel tickets and medical insurance.
