Rangiroa is an ideal place for divers: a coral ring of 240 motu around the island, reef fish, barracudas, hammerheads and many other marine animals. There are many dive centers on the island with modern equipment and experienced instructors.

Fishing, steamer and motor boat with a visit to some "motu", for example, Motu-pio (Motu Paio), where the bird sanctuary is located. "Race on the aisle": passengers on board a boat with a glass bottom swiftly carries through the passage between the open ocean and the lagoon.
The popular diving site is Avatoru Pass, there are silvery sharks and hammerhead sharks. In the Tiputa Pass come across reef sharks, as well as rays, dolphins, tuna, barracudas and stingrays (including manta or giant sea devil).
