How to get
Patra has one own airport - it is located on a military base 50 kilometers south of the city and only accepts charter flights from several European cities. It is much easier to fly to the airport in Athens, but to get to the city from it, unfortunately, where much longer - as much as 250 kilometers.

By bus or ferry
In Athens, you can take a bus or train. The route will take you about four and a half hours, and the ticket will cost about 5 EUR.

Entertainment, excursions and attractions Patras
Undoubtedly, the main building of Patras and its main attraction is the cathedral of St. Andrew the First-Called, it is one of the largest Orthodox churches in Greece. Lower Patra is a modern city, one of the largest metropolises in Greece, not a sea resort, despite the fact that it is located right on the shores of the Ionian Sea - the summer here is quite cool with frequent rains. He attracts tourists from all over the world with his unique atmosphere, his narrow ancient streets, on which life beats the key and the cheerful laughter of students never ceases.

Patra has long been famous for its universities, therefore, there is a huge number of young people for whom there are always open all kinds of entertainment places, the most popular of which can be called the night club Harama, where from the sunset until dawn, national Greek music sounds.
