Officials of the European Union can announce the postponement of the introduction of biometrics when issuing a Schengen visa for Russian tourists in the near future. There is a possibility that the innovation will be postponed until September 2015. The announcement of the transfer should be announced by the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Greece, Elena Kuntura.

Representatives of the tourism industry in Greece believe that the transfer of the introduction of biometric data collection can support Russian tourists and delay part of the tourist flow from countries outside the Schengen zone.
