A visa is needed for a trip to both North and South Goa.

Goa (both North and South) are parts of one state in India, where citizens of the Russian Federation need a visa. The Indian visa is issued at the consular section of the Embassy of India in Moscow, as well as at the Consulates General of India in St. Petersburg and Vladivostok.

To independently obtain a tourist visa to India, you must present the following documents:

• Passport valid for at least half a year at the time of document submission
• photocopies of significant pages of Russian passport (with photo and residence permit)
• copies of round-trip air tickets
• confirmation of hotel reservation in India for the whole stay (or invitation with guarantees of the receiving person)
• English application form (with a color photograph of 5 x 5 and on a white background)
• paid consular fee.
