For sweet, order halva and cookies "nokhod", cooked on the basis of flour from chickpeas - turkish peas.
Most of the famous restaurants of Shiraz are located in the city center, in the area of the boulevards Zand and Lotfall. As a landmark, you can use the building of the City Council and the Vakil mosque.
Many of Shiraz's chamber gardens have also been converted into restaurants. There are pavilions (former residences of well-to-do shizras) and an open-air space, drowning in greenery and flowers. Popular gastro gardens include Nahlestan, Darband, Sylvia and Padra.
