The economic prosperity of Kazakhstan is most noticeable precisely in Almaty (Almaty), where you feel like in Europe at times - there is a lot of luxury shops lined up along the streets here and foreign cars stuck in traffic jam.

Alma-Ata, drowned in greenery, located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains of the Zailiysky Alatau, the "calling card" of the city, was and remains one of the most charming "Soviet" creations in Central Asia. Today, the thriving Almaty middle class also owns expensive suburban real estate, and fully-equipped supermarkets, exquisite restaurants, chic bars, nightclubs and even the newest ski resorts help this layer of society enjoy life to the fullest.

Enjoy the view of the snow-covered mountains by climbing the cable car to the highest point of the city of Kok-Tobe.
