How to get
From the southern bus station of Mexico City (Autobuses del Sur) regular buses arrive in Taxco (the fare for one way is 130 pesos, the prices are indicated in May 2011). The last bus from Taxco to Mexico City recovers at 20:00. In Taxco, there is also a regular connection to Cuernavaca, the capital of the State of Morelos.

Transport
The best way to travel around the city is by foot. Taxis are expensive - about 20-30 pesos (prices are indicated in May 2011). "Collective" taxi, the so-called "combis" are cheaper (about 4 pesos) and ply around the city from 7:00 to 20:00.

During the Holy Week, processions and ceremonies are held in Taxco, which have gained international fame. Between Palm Sunday and Easter passes 10 major processions, six - in the evening and four - in the afternoon. Procession can stretch for more than 2 kilometers, and take up to about 2 hours.
