Tell me, if I have already received an electronic permission to enter and stay in Mexico (in the form that was filled in on the embassy's website, indicating the number and expiration date of my passport), will I have any problems on the border (our or Mexican), when landing on the plane, if the validity of my passport is about a month (that is, I manage to fly away and return back), but it is less than the specified (6 months) . Or 6 months of the passport is necessary for registration of a standard long-term visa to Mexico, and did not have to en for a short-term tourist trip by e-visa?
Responds Julia Kazmina
If your passport is only valid for a month, then I'm afraid you will not be released by our customs from the country. And if it does, it can cause problems when arriving in Mexico, since the validity period should be 6 months. But of course everything is possible, but it's a huge risk, you can lose the trip and no one will return the money.
Responds Milana Mitkina, Russian Express company
The validity of the passport in the ordinary visa - not less than 6 months.
On an electronic visa - if a visa is given to you, then you can leave without problems, even if the validity of the passport is less than 6 months.
