If you plan to go outside the transit zone in Rome, you will need a visa.

To obtain a visa to Italy you need documents:

• passport, with a validity of at least 3 months after the end of the trip ,
• photocopy of the first page is "charged",
• all available and expired passports,
• photocopy of the first page and with borders with a residence permit,
• one photo 3x4 cm,
• a completed and signed in English or Italian application form.
