I can not get an unambiguous answer about whether it is necessary to register an international driver's license when traveling to Poland on a private car? Or is it enough to have Russian rights?
Responds Evgeny Lyubeznikov
Formally, only international rights should be used abroad.
De facto, there are no cases when ordinary rights in the form of a plastic card would not suit auto inspectors in any of the countries of Europe.
There is information that in the absence of an international driver's license, the biggest rental companies may have problems with renting a car. But no more.
