In September 2006, the opening of the first stage of the high-speed cable car in the mountain-skiing complex "Gornaya Karusel" was held, and in 2007 the second and third stages of the ski lifts to the height of 1500 m were launched. At the end of the construction work, "Gornaya Karusel" will consist of 28 gondola, chairlift and rope type and 75 km of trails of different levels of complexity with lift stations at altitudes from 540 to 2200 m above sea level. In 2008, in the vicinity of the village of Esto-Sadok, a new Laura complex was opened on the territory of the Sochi National Park.
