Seychelles and Russia are preparing to sign an agreement on the mutual abolition of visas. Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ivanov said that currently the negotiations between the countries are nearing completion.
At present, entry to Seychelles for Russians is visa-free for up to 30 days: on arrival at the airport stamps are put on entry into the country, the passport must be valid for at least six months at the end of the trip. In addition, Russians should have return tickets and hotel reservations or a tourist voucher, as well as cash at a rate of 150 USD per person per day.
When moving to a completely visa-free regime, some of the existing rules will most likely be canceled.
