Entering the country
Upon arrival at the Mariana Archipelago, the following documents must be submitted to the border control:
- valid for the moment of the end of the travel passport;
- return air ticket with fixed return date;
- completed and signed form I-736 (issued at US consulates or on board the aircraft);
- completed and signed form I-94 (issued at US consulates or on board an aircraft).
Entry into the territory of the United States from the territory of the Marian Archipelago in the absence of a visa or residence permit in the United States is prohibited.

Visa registration at the US Embassy
You can apply for a visa to the Mariana archipelago in person at the visa department of the US embassy or consulate. List of required documents:
- valid passport with at least one clean page;
- an old passport (and a copy of it) if it had visas of the USA, Canada, the Schengen countries or the United Kingdom;
- 2 photos 5x5 cm;
- the application form in English on the DS-160 form (men aged 16 to 45 years also need to fill out an application in the form of DS-157); the questionnaire must be printed out on a laser printer without fail: the fact is that the confirmation contains information about the applicant, encrypted in an individual barcode, which should be readable .If the code is not clearly printed, the consular department has a problem with the search and identification of information, which in turn leads to the need to re-record for the interview and submit documents;
- receipt for payment of the consular fee (140 USD);
- a document confirming the purpose of the trip; the rationale for the trip: an invitation from the host party (from the travel company or from business partners) or a plan-route for independent travelers;
- a certificate from the workplace indicating the position, salary, length of service;
- Evidence of the financial solvency of the applicant: bank statements, copies of tax returns, etc.;
- documents proving ownership of property, copies of marriage certificates, birth of children, registration of own company;
- it is also advisable to provide a copy of the insurance policy valid for the duration of the trip.
For students and schoolchildren need a birth certificate (copy), a certificate from the place of study, a copy of the student's card. It is also necessary to provide an application for sponsoring the trip from the parents, as well as documents confirming their ability to pay for the trip.

The visa processing deadline is 7-30 days (if registration passes without an interview with a tourist). The consulate issues a multiple entry visa valid for 1 year, but at the request of the tourist can issue a two-year multiple visa.
