I want to go to my husband in Turkey for 5 months. And the length of stay for a tourist visa is 60 days. Can I live there from March to August? Since in May it is planned to cancel the visa regime, can I not leave Turkey in May, and stay there until August without fines?

The most legitimate and easy way.

You open a multiple entry visa valid for 6 months at the Turkish Consulate in Moscow.

Required documents:

  • passport (valid for at least 3 months from the date of visa or visa visa expiration)
  • 1 application form, completed in English.
  • color photo 3х4 cm
  • certificate from the place of work with indication of the details of the company, position and salary
  • photocopy of registration at the place of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation
  • photocopy of birth certificate (for minors)
  • tourist invitation from a private person - $

Consular fee - 60 USD.

To obtain a visa, the personal presence of the tourist is necessary. Visa processing deadline is 3 working days.

The address of the consular department: 119121, Moscow, 7th Rostovsky per., 12.

Reception days: Monday-Friday, 9.00 - 13.00.

Phone: 956-55-95, fax: 956-55-97.

Please note that at present there is only a preliminary agreement on a visa-free regime between the Russian Federation and Turkey, but there are no normative documents. Most likely, there will be some easing in obtaining a tourist visa (indicating the acceptable length of stay in Turkey and some other restrictions). At the same time, there is an old rule that provides for a penalty for late payment in a visa.
