It is advisable to arrange a visa upon arrival in Urumqi through a local host company that can provide you with a visa confirmation (copy) for check-in to the flight in Russia. Required documents for visa processing upon arrival at Urumqi airport:
1) Copy of the OZP (page with a photograph);
2) Confirmation of the reservation from the hotel (in your clinic case) + confirmation of reservation of other ground services (transfer, sightseeing, etc.);
3) 1 color photo 3 * 4 cm on a light background.
The visa is issued for a group of 2 people for a period corresponding to the hotel reservation and air tickets, but not more than 30 days, and costs 150 dollars per person.
