The government of the Croatian Rijeka plans to extend the festivities and after the New Year launches a series of carnivals that will last a whole month. Tourists and residents of the city will be able to rest between celebrations for about two weeks: carnivals will begin on January 17, 2015

The events will start with a grandiose performance, where Korolyov will be chosen for the holiday, and the mayor will give the keys to the city of Korolev to the carnival. An extensive program awaits the city: masquerades, concerts, shows and sports competitions.

The sequence of carnivals will end only on February 18.
