Dominican waves - stable, "long-playing" and warm - with a temperature of at least + 26 ° C in the winter months. There are about 30 surf spots in the republic, most of which are drawn either to a stable "four" or even to an honest "five" on a five-point scale.

Here you can easily find both right-and left-handed surfing; the number of places for beginners and professionals is about the same. The bottom is coral, so you need to be careful not to injure yourself on the reef.

Among the popular spots: Cabarete, El Canal, Macao and Pato Beach - for beginners and experienced surfers; El Brok, La Presiosa, Punta Rusia and Encuentro - for sure standing on the board. The most crazy can try not to break the neck on the spot with the speaking name Destroyer, and also in the anonymous (but well-known in the corresponding circles) place in the vicinity of Sosua.
