Turku Castle is an ancient castle, built in 1280, which is one of the most popular places in the country. The castle is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, but during the period from October to March is closed on Mondays, the cost of admission ticket is 7 EUR or 9 EUR with excursion.
Turku Cathedral is one of the main cathedrals of the country. Open daily from 9:00 to 19:00 (until 20:00 from mid-April to mid-September), admission is free. Also worth a visit is Luostarinmäki - part of the city that survived after the fire in 1827, which now houses many museums and art workshops.
