The legendary cabaret "Moulin Rouge" is the place where the modern form of the cancan dance originated. The building on Clichy Boulevard is easily identified by the model of the red windmill on the roof, Toulouse-Lautrec painted it for him, and Yves Montand, Piaf and Sinatra loved to spend their evenings here.
Once behind the "Moulin Rouge" was the fame of a "first-class brothel." But after the cabaret began to visit the aristocrats and people of art, it gradually turned into a fashionable institution.
Today in the "Moulin Rouge" are dancing-song shows for the adult audience. Since the performances are very popular, it is difficult to get to them. Tourists who decided to visit Paris, it is better to book a table in advance on the Internet. The entrance to the night club costs 80-90 EUR. Those who are going to not only see the show, but also have dinner, will have to pay out more - 150-180 EUR.
When going to the Moulin Rouge, it's better to put the camera out of the bag. Photographing in the institution is prohibited, as well as smoking.
The address of the legendary cabaret: Montmartre - 82, boulevard de Clichy. Opening hours: from 19.00 to 01.00. You can get to it by metro (line M2), getting off at Blanche station.

It was hard to ride the bus and for a long time, we hardly slept, because the conditions for sleeping on the bus are almost unbearable! Arriving in Paris, we happily went out and headed for a walk around the city. The French language was simply impossible to understand, we knew literally a couple of words in French! Helped sign language and knowledge of English. Have reached ... Read the whole review

In France, I visited in December 2012, when I was making a tour of Europe with my girlfriend. France was the last country of our visit, so we came there a little tired of the abundance of impressions, but as soon as we entered Paris, the fatigue as a hand took off! Still, after all Paris is a unique city in which there is a huge quantity of sights. Of course, first of all, we went on a sightseeing tour of the city and saw the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret, located in Paris ... Read the whole review
