Locks of Luxembourg?
Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Thanks to the seven castles upstream of the Alzet River, the valley of the river Aish in central Luxembourg is unofficially called the "Valley of the Seven Castles", among which the New Castle of Ansemburg (17th c.) With the adjacent gardens and the ruins of the castle of Körich 12 century). After the completion of the current reconstruction, it is planned to open the castle Schönfels (12th century) in the near future.
Other castles of the valley - Mersh (13th century), Hollenfels (12th century), Sepphonten (presumably 12th century) and the Old Castle of Ansembourg - are privately owned and closed to the public.
