Do I need a visa to Malaysia for a Ukrainian citizen who has a residence permit in Russia?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Citizens of Ukraine with a residence permit in Russia, who will stay in Malaysia for less than a month, do not need a visa.

You should have the following documents with you:

  • tickets to both sides with a closed date,
  • passport with a validity of 6 months,
  • financial guarantees (with you, you must have more than $ 500, and you must have some confirmation of this).

For a stay in Malaysia for more than 30 days, you can get single-entry visas of two types: "without approval", issued on the day of treatment for a period of 2 months with the possibility of an extension for a similar period, and a "visa with reconciliation", giving the right to stay in the country for up to six months.
