Responds ±$ to the information section of the "Subtlety of Tourism"
The rainy season in Mauritius is not particularly pronounced: in fact, it lasts year round, however, from June to November, the rains somewhat subside, the heat decreases. However, the heat on the island is transferred well: blowing breezes, at night a pleasant coolness reigns. At the same time, despite the climatically most favorable time, June on the island is a month of relative calm.
Many tourists prefer to arrive in Mauritius from November to March, despite the rainy season. Moreover, the rainy season on the coast is not very burdensome: showers last not for long, and they are weaker than in the mountainous regions and the center of the island. During this period of sunshine on the island more, even at night it is hot and very humid. Cyclones are possible. Nevertheless, you can swim in the ocean, because it is reliably protected by coral reefs.
