Museum of Imperial Bicycles in Peterhof

In this small museum, which is located in one of the old stone houses of Peterhof (1796), a collection of 12 bicycles is stored, on which Russian emperors and their families once walked..Among the exhibits are the French "Kostotryas" with wooden wheels in 1867, belonging to Alexander II, the tandem of Nicholas II, two English "spider bicycles" in 1882, which were the property of Alexander III .Also in the museum there are bicycle accessories, postcards, photos, stamps, playing cards, medals, knife stands and an inkstand with the image of a bicycle .
