Can I surf the UAE? And where?

Responds Andrei Zorin, Unex
The UAE for surfing is not the best place, as there are not enough good waves. Nevertheless, there is surfing. And it's better to go riding on the east coast (Fujairah, Horfakkan) - there's an ocean and waves more.

Surfing places:

  • Jumeirah, Wollongong-Beach - here basically kitesurfing, for which you need to have a local license kite club.
  • Jumeirah, Sunset Beach - for beginners.
  • Fujairah, beach hotel Sandy Beach Motel.
  • Hor-Fakkan, hotel beach Oceanic.
  • Ras-al -Haima, Cow Beach.

In addition, you can enjoy surfing in the Wild Wadi water park, where there are artificial waves 2, 5 meters high.
