The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to prohibit Russian citizens from entering the country by internal passports from March 1, 2015
Since the spring of this year, when crossing the border, Russians will need to show a passport.
The relevant resolution was published on the official website of the Government of Ukraine. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the decision was made in connection with the need to increase the level of control over Russian citizens on the territory of Ukraine.
The decree on the ban on entry into the territory of Ukraine on internal passports for Russians was adopted by the government of Ukraine on January 30.
