Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Sockets in Venezuela American type (type A according to the international classification - 110 volts) with flat connectors. Adapters for euro-plugs in some hotels on request of tourists are issued at the reception, or they can be bought at local stores - but the point of sale of electrical goods in shopping centers in an unfamiliar country still needs to be found.

Therefore, the councils of experienced people usually consist in purchasing either universal adapters "for all outlets of the world", or special American ones, and only for forgetfulness - on the spot. However, most of the international chain hotels have C-type sockets (as in Russia).
