Theoretically, according to the current legislation, only one of the parents will have the consent for the child's departure to the CIS countries and Abkhazia, provided that the second parent does not apply to the border services with an objection to the departure of the child. However, border guards have the right motivated to require the provision of additional documents for the child's export abroad (including a power of attorney from the second parent), which could endanger the child's rest in Abkhazia.
