Is Azerbaijan attractive for Russian tourists?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
In recent years, the tourism industry has just begun to develop in Azerbaijan (alas, much has been lost, it is being restored, plus the direction itself can not be called popular: most travelers to Azerbaijan are still citizens of the country or people from it). Nevertheless, located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, a relatively small "Country of lights" attracts tourists with natural beauties, historical heritage and originality.

In total there are 9 natural zones on the territory of Azerbaijan. There are resorts for lovers of alpine skiing: in the Gabala region with a network of five-star hotels and at the foot of Shahdag mountain in Kusar district - only international ski resorts are being commissioned here

Today, excursion tours are organized in Azerbaijan, including visiting historical sights of Shemakha, Ismayillov, Baku, Sheki, Gakh, Guba.

In addition, more than 130 museums are located here, and the Baku district of Icheri-Shekher and the Gobustan reserve are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

There are beach tours in Baku - Nabran, Khudat, Khachmaz, Lenkoran, Astara, as well as therapeutic tours on thermal waters in Massaly, Naftalan and mineral waters in Ganja.
