If you have a rest in Sharm el-Sheikh or Hurghada, you can get to the most famous and highest pyramids of Egypt only as part of the excursion. The thing is that these ancient structures are located in Giza, the actual suburb of the country's capital, Cairo. It can be reached from these resorts by bus (to go 6-8 hours), by car with a driver (waybill) or by plane.

Those who rest in Cairo are much easier. They can call a taxi at any time and after half an hour to admire the pyramids. By the way, the way back on the same machine is always a little more expensive, about 10-15 pounds. If you need a cheaper option, use public transport. First on the metro, along the yellow line No. 2 to Giza station. Then by taxi or bus number 900 or 997.

Another way to get to Giza from Cairo (and the most comfortable, perhaps) is to take a bus No. 355 or 357 in the New Cairo area (it's Heliopolis, New Egypt).
